By completing registration, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand its contents, and agree to follow all membership terms and conditions set by the academy.
At our volleyball academy, we take the safety and well-being of our clients seriously. We expect all clients to follow our rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and positive environment for all.
Failure to adhere to the above code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of training services.
By completing registration, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand contents, and agree to follow all rules and guidelines set by the academy.
By using our volleyball academy facilities, you acknowledge that the sport of volleyball carries inherent risks of injury. You understand that our academy takes every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of our clients, but that accidents can still occur despite our best efforts.
In consideration of your use of our facilities and participation in our programs, you agree to waive and release any and all claims for personal injury, property damage, or other loss that may arise from your use of our facilities or participation in our programs or events. You agree to hold our volleyball academy, its directors, coaches, and staff harmless from any and all claims, suits, or actions arising from your use of our facilities or participation in our programs or events.
You further confirm that you have adequate and relevant insurance coverage for your use of our facilities and participation in our programs, and agree to provide proof of such insurance upon request. You understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are covered by adequate insurance at all times while using our facilities and participating in our programs.
By completing registration, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand contents, and that you are agreeing to release our volleyball academy from any and all liability for injury or loss that may occur while using our facilities or participating in our programs or events.
Registration for any RIO Volleyball Academy programme confirms that the parent/guardian and participant agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Programme places are secured only once registration is completed and payment or an approved instalment plan is confirmed.
RIO Volleyball Academy reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations where necessary to maintain programme quality, safety, or appropriate group levels.
Programme fees must be paid in full before the programme begins unless an instalment plan has been agreed in advance.
RIO Volleyball Academy may offer instalment payment options for certain programmes. Instalments are provided as a payment convenience only and do not represent a pay-as-you-go arrangement.
By selecting an instalment plan, parents/guardians agree that the full programme fee remains payable once the participant is registered and begins the programme.
Failure to complete instalment payments does not cancel the obligation to pay the remaining balance.
RIO Volleyball Academy reserves the right to suspend participation until outstanding payments are settled.
Participants with unpaid balances may not be permitted to join training sessions, matches, tournaments, camps, or future academy programmes until payments are completed.
If instalment payments are not received by the agreed due date:
Failure to attend sessions does not cancel the financial obligation for programme fees.
Programme fees are non-refundable once a participant has secured a place in a programme.
RIO Volleyball Academy plans programmes, coaching schedules, staffing and facility bookings in advance. For this reason, refunds cannot generally be issued once registration has been confirmed.
If a participant wishes to withdraw from a programme after registration, programme fees remain non-refundable.
However, a withdrawing participant may arrange a replacement participant to take their place in the programme.
If a replacement participant is found by the withdrawing parent/guardian and is approved by the Academy:
Once payment from the replacement participant has been received, the withdrawing participant may receive up to 80% of the amount paid by the replacement participant for the remaining programme period.
The remaining 20% will be retained by the Academy for administrative and operational costs.
RIO Volleyball Academy does not guarantee acceptance of replacement participants.
If a participant is unable to attend training due to illness or injury, the Academy may offer account credit for missed sessions if an official doctor’s note or medical certificate is provided.
Credits may be applied to future programmes at the Academy’s discretion.
Refunds are not issued for illness or injury.
Participants may request up to three (3) make-up sessions per programme term.

Make-up sessions cannot be guaranteed and do not carry financial value.
Regular attendance is important for player development and team progression.
Missed sessions due to personal commitments, travel, or scheduling conflicts are not eligible for refunds or credits unless otherwise stated in these Terms & Conditions.
RIO Volleyball Academy communicates programme updates, announcements and schedules through official channels including email and WhatsApp parent groups.
Parents/guardians are responsible for requesting to be added to the relevant session WhatsApp group after registration to ensure they receive all announcements.
The Academy is not responsible for missed information if parents have not joined the official communication channels.
Parents/guardians are responsible for keeping their contact information accurate and up to date.
RIO Volleyball Academy may take photographs and videos during training sessions, matches, camps, and events.

If a parent/guardian does not consent to their child appearing in photos or videos, they must:

All participants are expected to behave respectfully toward coaches, staff, teammates and facilities.
RIO Volleyball Academy reserves the right to remove a participant from sessions or programmes if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful.
In such cases programme fees remain non-refundable.
RIO Volleyball Academy reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to training schedules, venues, coaching staff or programme structure where necessary.
Participation in sports activities involves inherent physical risks.
By registering for the programme, parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and confirm that the participant is physically fit to take part in volleyball training activities.
RIO Volleyball Academy will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety but cannot be held liable for injuries occurring during normal participation in training or related activities.
By registering for any programme with RIO Volleyball Academy, parents/guardians confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
